Grzegorz Polański , Anna Wołpiuk-Ochocińska

Abstract

As a result of the discovery and introduction of new technologies in the social sphere, there is a change in the patterns that define the way people communicate and share information with each other, how they organize their time and how they work (Suleyman, 2023).
The content of the article is based on a study of the relationship between being female or male and willingness to adopt new technologies and positivity towards oneself, the world around and the future. The study is a review. It employs a quantitative approach. A total of 916 respondents participated in it. The study participants belong to three generations: Z, Y, X. The result of the research mainly indicates that there are differences between men and women regarding the adoption and use of new technologies to gain benefits in their life and work. An important aspect of women’s and men’s adoption of new technologies is the way in which both genders interpret their predisposition to use new technologies. The conclusions of the study mainly refer to the need for education as far as the introduction and use of new technologies is concerned.
