Abstrakt

Uszkodzenie słuchu może znacząco wpływać na różne aspekty życia, w tym zdrowie psychiczne, fizyczne oraz funkcjonowanie społeczne. W literaturze naukowej coraz częściej wskazuje się na złożone związki między problemami ze słuchem a konsekwencjami zdrowotnymi, które mogą obejmować depresję, lęk, zwiększone ryzyko chorób sercowo-naczyniowych oraz pogorszenie jakości relacji społecznych. Celem artykułu jest systematyczne omówienie wyników kluczowych badań dotyczących tych zależności, w tym analiz wpływu utraty słuchu na izolację społeczną oraz trudności komunikacyjne. W artykule uwzględniono również ograniczenia metodologiczne, które mogą wpływać na interpretację uzyskanych danych, takie jak brak grupy kontrolnej i stosowanie prostych narzędzi oceny komunikacji.
